Below is a photo of my new treasures.  (Consider it a follow up to this link from last July.)

Kick the Cheat

View Category If this latest video installment is to teach us anything, it is that the Brothers Chaps rule all and, more importantly, The Cheat is not dead.

Meeh Meeh Meeh!

View Category Either today’s update brought a lot of changes to Free Country USA, or I haven’t been paying enough attention.  I see there’s a new FAQ page at the Homestar site (normally accessible through their Contact page), there’s also a new Marshie t-shirt, and, best of all, a plush Cheat toy!
I’ve been waiting for such an item to go on sale ever since catching sight of it in an old Brothers Chaps interview last July, and the Cheat plush toy was put on sale today.  Frustratingly, the Store page showed a “0” quantity of Cheat toys in stock this morning, but this was finally corrected mere moments ago.
And I’m also awaiting word on their long-planned DVD, but the FAQ page says they’re still working on it and it will be out this year.
P.S.: I found a decent H*R fan site today too.
P.P.S.: This site is pretty cool as well, full of H*R sightings.
P.P.P.S.: Can’t forget about the new 2nd Set H*R figurines too (which at least I did know about already), but they’re still listed as “Coming Soon”.

Frustrations

The first full day back at work, and by “full” I mean looooonng.   It’s been okay so far, but it’s tough getting back to our old hours.   And it doesn’t help that—

I Got A Million Pounds of Candy       (.....yaaaayy)

View Category SFG Helpful Halloween Tip: Don’t waste your candy by giving it out to strangers.  On Halloween night, lock your doors, turn your lights off, and have the candy yourself.
P.S.  Some people have commented that my caricature resembles Ziggy.  After seeing this comic I’m tempted to say they’re right.

Back Again

View Category Did you miss me?  I wandered over to Windows Update and installed a couple fixes and patches.  It didn’t interfere with my posting schedule, but it felt strange to shut everything down and reboot.  The break gave me time to have some lunch too.
The mail just came as well, and I got my latest package from Amazon.  I’ve got some new CDs to listen to while I continue to blog: Greg “Fingers” Taylor‘s new one Hi Fi Baby and, because of Homestar Runner, Brontosaurus from DaVinci’s Notebook.  (You know you’re a H*R fan when you start buying stuff just because there’s a Homestar connection.)
