I seem to like these clips, where a bit of profanity slips by the network censors.  I guess it illustrates how harmless it is when they actually hit the airways, how pointless it is to try and camouflage them.  Also, it’s funny to hear the E! censor try to bleep the word and fail so badly.

We left for Chicago yesterday morning and returned this afternoon, for another pilgrimage to see U2.  It was a great show as always, but I’m still of a mind that their best tours are the stripped down ones, like the Elevation tour, rather than this current one, which, like Pop Mart, threatens to dwarf or diminish the band with its huge, distracting, yet admittedly impressive stage.

Looks like I’m using the Labor Day weekend to finally complete long unfinished video projects.  Here’s footage I shot Friday, September 5 2008, of the Model T Centennial, at Ford’s World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan.

It only took eleven months to put this little video together.  Maybe I was afraid to confess one big reason I attended Brian and Lindsey’s wedding, as you’ll plainly see, was just to get back to Mackinac Island.
