I too kept wondering why the RNCC kept showing that mansion facade behind McCain last night.  (And after ten minutes I was wondering if they could show other channels to watch.)  Turns out there was a reason ... just not a very good reason.  Apparently they meant to show video of Walter Reed military hospital but ended up with video of Walter Reed Middle School.  You have to read this to believe it.
    I wonder if this kind of half-assed web search explains their VP pick.

    This video was circulating the Internet yesterday, following the President’s press conference.  Everyone’s been commented about the shadowy figure lurking in the shadows; but I thought the video needed a slight tweak.  (Not too crazy about the music though, but it was a rush job.)
