My Famous Face
During high school and college people said I reminded them of John Belushi. After college, it was Jon Lovitz. Later on, after I started wearing glasses, people said I looked like “Newman” (Wayne Knight) from Seinfeld. (Gee, thanks. They also said I looked like George Costanza—and even Kramer!— but I wouldn’t be surprised if they meant Newman.)
The reason this all comes to mind is this morning I was told I reminded someone of Gary Sinise! This took me completely by surprise. I don’t see the resemblance, actually, but I’ll take it as a compliment. (Though I doubt Mr Sinise would.)
